Dr. Vaibhav Mishra, a dynamic and accomplished Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon, currently leads the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Department at Max Super Specialty Hospital in Patparganj, New Delhi. Prior to his role at Max Hospital, he served as the Head of the Department of Cardiac Surgery at Fortis Hospitals for 5 years, where he achieved a remarkable milestone of performing approximately 2500+ successful surgeries with outstanding outcomes.

Dr. Mishra’s journey in cardiac surgery began with his training at the prestigious Grant Medical College and JJ Hospital in Mumbai, where he earned his MCH degree. Subsequently, he honed his skills by collaborating with leading surgeons worldwide during his five-year tenure in Australia and New Zealand. Before returning to India, he contributed his expertise at renowned institutions such as the Royal Melbourne and Melbourne Private Hospital in Australia, as well as Wellington Regional Hospital in New Zealand. Additionally, he served as an hon. clinical lecturer in the Department of Surgery at Otago University, Wellington, New Zealand, for two years.
